As with many other passions in life,
the love for all things “bead” came about unexpectedly. Each of
us unknowingly stepping into a new world of exploration and delight at
what we had found. While Michael found an enthusiasm for lamp work
glass, Kelli & Tarlee found the joy of wire, seed beads, altered and
mixed media, weaving. We all discovered the therapeutic value of our new love and now realize
the harmony of all things “bead” with our daily discussions and work.
.
Opening a bead store was just a dream three years ago.
A dream that
none of us thought would ever come to life! We were so sure we’d
never be able to accomplish the dream that the original name of the bead
store was “Imagine.” But as we continued working and gaining a
little more knowledge (which is ever changing in the world of beads) we
couldn’t dream of calling it anything else but “The Hole” which
encompasses many things. The entire, the hole of a bead, our special
little play on words regarding “the hole” idea of where we wanted to
go with our service and components we wish to and can logically carry.
And so, in 2005 “The Hole” was
born. We hope you enjoy it. Please feel free to make
suggestions, comments, wishes, etc. We’re happy to listen. .
. and we’ll certainly attempt to accommodate.
Who are we?
Tarlee Yeoman,
married to Jeff, daughter, Brittney, the love of our lives. Part owner of “The Hole”
and loves to help and make jewelry! Tarlee took part in painting and renovating the old structure.
Michael Burns, a computer wiz, hunting maniac, creative specialist who thinks outside the
box. Part owner of “The Hole” and can lay claim to
almost all the renovations done inside and out of the building.
Kelli Burns, creative,
knowledgeable, motivated and driven. I must say
that the idea of “The Hole” was in my head and without Michael, Tarlee
and various family members it never would have come to
fruition.
As you can see, The Hole has three owners. Meaning, no commission paid
sales people. Each of us has a stake in the success of our venture. Our
venture being the store itself. Therefore, when we say “Can we help?”
we really mean it!

Our Goal
Since beading is a personal experience for every person, including first time beaders
and a
great space for those “long time” beaders. When we visited other bead stores throughout
Oklahoma and other states we couldn’t help but notice the “confined”
feeling we got when we attempted to shop. We talked to other
“beaders” and were told they always felt bead stores were too
congested. Even with a truly daunting inventory we are striving to
leave excess room to move freely about the store. We
truly want each and every aspect of The Hole to feel as comfortable as our
clients own home.
